We have another superstar lifelong learner in our midst! Huge congratulations to Mrs. Latiak on having been named to the Fall 2024 Dean's List for Grace College. Those named to this list carry a full-time load and have achieved a 3.940 grad point average or better for the semester, and Mrs. Latiak has a 4.0! All of our teachers are encouraged to continue their education, just as we encourage our students to be lifelong learners. #ChristianEducation #ChristianLeaders #TeachersWhoLearn #Academic Success #CCSPatriots

Huge congratulations to Mr. Romesburg for completing the requirements for his Integrated Ministries Studies degree at Moody Bible College! One thing that separates CCS from other schools is our amazing college and career counselor. Melanie Latiak not only meets with students one-on-one multiple times throughout their secondary career but also makes herself available to alumni who have questions and need help with their college or career choices even after graduation. Last week, a student from the class of 2023 stopped by to share about her plans for student teaching next year and to gain some Christ-centered advice from Mrs. Latiak. #ChristianEducation #WeAreCCS #CCSPatriots #PatriotPride #BiblicalFoundation #AcademicSuccess #AlumniSupport

At Calumet Christian School, we work daily to create the beloved community that Martin Luther King dreamed of. Our faculty, staff, and students are proud not just to remember the dream but also to continue the goal of the Rev. Last week, Algebra II and Geometry classes swapped roles with Coach Dee and became the teachers. Students were charged with developing a method to teach standards that had been reviewed in the first semester to their peers. Coach Dee did an excellent job incorporating reading, writing, and oral presentation standards into math class! Literacy standards are always being taught in every subject at CCS! Great job, students and Coach Dee! #ChristianEducation #WellRoundedEducation #MathStandards #LiteracyIntegration #Academic Rigor

Pastor V joined us in chapel today and reminded us to allow God to help us use the gifts that He has given us. Pastor V is also in the running for best chapel speaker ever by walking down the aisle throwing candy in the air, he is a tough act to follow... Who is up next?☺️
