This weekend our Praise Dance Team was able to minister through dance at the Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church Annual Christmas Dinner. Amazing job as always by our girls!

This week as personal finance class finished up the semester they are focusing on the stock market. The students have been playing a game called Pit where they are “trading” commodities and putting their learning into action.

The secondary team is pushing through this last week of the semester with joy and laughter. Yesterday's undercover teacher spirit day theme was "royal court" and they also started a Home Alone themed contest that had everyone doing the famous Kevin McCallister face pose!

Todays "Life of Jesus" 9th grade Bible class had a special treat when Anthem Church's Pastor Rob came to speak to the students about Matthew 1 giving some insight to the Christmas story.
His challenge question to the students was, “What gift can you give Jesus?” (Meaning your life, your obedience, etc) he also gave deeper insight to the gifts the Magi brought Jesus.

Some weeks chapel is amazing because of the speaker. Some weeks chapel is amazing because of the chapel team and how they lead us in worship, but the best days of chapel are when it is all student, all prayer, all them talking to God and interceding on behalf of their classmates.
