What a blessing for the Voices of CCS to sing the National Anthem tonight at the Railcats game!
Thank you to everyone who came out and supported them.

The Voices of CCS are performing the National Anthem at this Friday's Gary Railcats game. There are a small number of tickets remaining. Call the school office to claim yours before they're gone!
You can also pick up your pre-ordered CD (or purchase one) at the school's main office of the recording the Voices of CCS made last spring.

One hundred and eighty students for one hundred and eighty days can cause more than a bit of wear and tear on a school building. If you can break away this Saturday morning from 8am-noon, we'll be having a work day at CCS to finish cleaning, repairing, and updating various rooms around the building.

The Voices of CCS were a tremendous blessing to many as they led the worship in the Griffith Community Good Friday Service. So thankful to those who came our during the spring break to minister in this way.

Because of increasing sickness among our teaching staff, CCS will be having an e-learning day tomorrow, February 23. Students, be sure to check in to your Google Classrooms to find your assignments. Younger students should have received a packet to complete.

Calumet Christian will be observing a two-hour delay tomorrow (Tuesday, 1/23) due to the forecast of freezing rain overnight. Students should arrive at school by 9:45 am with classes starting at 10:00 am.

The radiator pipes have been repaired, the heat has been restored, and CCS is open again tomorrow. Due to the damage in the Kindergarten room, we will need those students to wait until Friday to return. Thanks for your patience.

Calumet Christian will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, 1/17. Frozen pipes over the weekend led to significant flooding in two classrooms. Repairs cannot be completed until tomorrow afternoon.

Due to the extreme cold weather, CCS will be taking one more snow day tomorrow before returning on Wednesday.

SNOW DAY - a second snow day in the first week back! With winter storm Gerri on the way, Calumet Christian will be closed tomorrow. The homecoming game and events scheduled for tomorrow night will also be postponed. Next Monday is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, so we'll see everyone back on Tuesday. Stay warm!

SNOW DAY tomorrow! There will be NO SCHOOL tomorrow at Calumet Christian due to the forecasted wintry mix during the morning commute. School is expected to resume on Wednesday.

Merry Christmas!

What a first week of school! We have seen God work through some spiritual emphasis chapels, and we're beginning to settle into a routine. Some real needs for staff still exist and we'd appreciate any leads you can pass on to qualified people who could join the CCS staff. We are one month away from the Parent Kickoff Meeting and Kids Carnival which will take place on Monday evening, August 14. School doors open at 7:45 am Wednesday, August 16.
