Join us this week for volleyball and football! Keep our Juniors and Seniors in your prayers as they attend their first college and career conference of the year.

Juniors and Seniors: Please remember to bring your permission slips to the college, career, and scholarship fair on Wednesday! Note that students who do not attend should still be present in school for their scheduled Wednesday classes.

Happy Labor Day!
Today, we give thanks for the gift of work and the opportunity to serve God through the talents and callings He has given us. We are especially grateful for our teachers, staff, parents, and students who labor faithfully each day in learning and service. May this Labor Day be a time of rest, renewal, and gratitude for all the blessings of God’s provision.
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men. – Colossians 3:23

📣 Welcome Back, Mr. Alex! 🎉
We are excited to welcome Mr. Alex Johnson back to Calumet Christian School as our Physical Education and Health Education student teacher for the fall semester!
Mr. Alex is a proud CCS Class of 2021 graduate. During his senior year, he served as a cadet teacher for our elementary physical education program, where he discovered his passion for teaching and encouraging students to stay active.
This fall, he returns to CCS to complete his student teaching placement before graduating from Kentucky State University with a degree in Secondary Education, specializing in Physical & Health Education.
Join us in celebrating and welcoming back one of our beloved alumni to the CCS family, not just as a Patriot, but now as a teacher! 💙❤️

🌟 Meet Our New ASL Teacher! 🌟
We are excited to welcome Mrs. Keva Pryce to the Calumet Christian School family! Originally from New York City, Mrs. Pryce (who will be going by Mrs. K as the students learn to sign her name) describes herself first as a child of the true and living God. Her worship shines through dance, flagging, creativity, and her deep love for American Sign Language.
With over 10 years of experience serving faithfully in churches, schools, and both the Deaf and hearing communities, she brings a wealth of passion and dedication. Ms. Pryce looks forward to sharing the beauty of ASL with our students, so that they can grow in their ability to communicate with others and to strengthen the kingdom of God through Sign Language.
Join us in giving her a warm CCS welcome!
