Join us in welcoming Mrs. Chastity Martin, our new Middle School Math and Computer Sciences teacher. Mrs. Martin has worked in education for many years, serving as a classroom teacher and substitute across school districts in Indiana, Illinois, and Mississippi. She earned my Bachelor of Science in Education/Social Science from Jackson State University and recently completed her Master of Arts in Management & Leadership through Liberty University. Originally from Chicago, Mrs Martin now lives in Lowell, Indiana, and is thankful for the opportunity to serve a community that values growth, purpose, and faith. As a woman of strong Christian faith, she believes in leading with compassion, integrity, and grace, both in and out of the classroom. Welcome to CCS Mrs. Martin.

It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Mrs. Linda Baessler with the Calumet Christian School family. Mrs. Baessler was a dedicated member of both the Calumet Baptist and Calumet Christian Schools. She inspired countless students to embrace the beauty of mathematics and guided many to achieve success in a subject they once found daunting. Her unwavering commitment to Calumet Christian was matched only by her deep love for her family and her faith. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Baessler for her remarkable contributions to CCS. May her legacy continue to inspire us all.

Having played piano since the age of 5 and with nearly 50 years of experience as an organist and pianist, Mrs. Coney brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our school community. She has led Sunday School crafts, created beautiful projects for her home, and played for various choirs in both school and community settings.
A joyful mom of 4 children and an amazing daughter-in lowe, Mrs. Coney has been married for 26 years to her loving husband, and is a proud grandma of 3. Although they are enjoying their journey as empty nesters, it seems the arts will continue to thrive in the Coney family for generations to come, with all 3 grandchildren showing a passion for music.

Join us in welcoming our newest Secondary teacher, Mrs. Patricia Flippin-Williams! Patricia is married to Walter Williams, and together, they work in ministry, serving their community. One of her favorite verses is Jeremiah 29:11, and she can’t wait to see the plans God has for her at Calumet Christian. With 17 years of experience in education, she has had the privilege of serving in various roles, including as a teacher, social worker, site director, high school educator, and youth pastor. Her journey in education has allowed her to work closely with students and their families, helping them grow academically, socially, and spiritually. She is excited to join CCS because this opportunity allows her to combine her love for teaching with her passion for ministry. Mrs Flippin-Williams looks forward to worshiping alongside her students and colleagues, creating an environment where faith and learning thrive together.
